The course introduces students to the American legal system. Criminal and civil law are discussed with a special emphasis on the rights of all citizens and consumers. Topics include the following: Introduction to Law & Legal System, Criminal Law and Juvenile Justice, Torts, Consumer and Housing Law, Individual Rights & Liberties.
