This course is designed to follow Italian 1 A. It continues to provide students with a foundation in the Italian language and an introduction to Italian culture. Developed in alignment with national standards for world language instruction, successful completion of this course will empower students to communicate in Italian, to understand Italian culture, to make connections among disciplines, to develop insight into the nature of language and culture, and to participate in multilingual communities. Course projects encourage the student to use Italian in practical applications.
