This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of chemistry. It will also emphasize the scientific method. You will learn how to use the scientific method as it is applied not only to the study of chemistry, but also how it can be used to solve real-world problems. You will have a variety of activities that will include using various websites, interactive tutorials, a discussion board, and wikis. The course is divided into units. Within each unit there will be lessons that will contain assignments, discussion board, quizzes and activities that will vary according to the material. You will have a unit test at the end of each unit.
