Customizing Your Blackboard Start Page (blendedschools.net tab)

One of the customizable areas is the blendedschools.net Start Page. This is the page you see when you first log into Blackboard, before you click on any class title. This is also the page you see when you click on the first purple tab, titled “blendedschools.net.” View the video below to learn how to personalize your Start page.

Follow these steps to customize your start page:

Log into https://blendedschools.blackboard.com
The start page is the first page you see when logged into Blackboard.
If you navigate to other areas in Blackboard, you can return to the start page by clicking the blendedschools.net tab.
The start page consists of modules.
Click Personal Information link in Tools module to update your account info or change your password.
Modules can be edited removed, collapsed, expanded or relocated by using the icons at the top of each module.
Modules can be added or removed using the "Add Module" button at the top-left of start page.
Customize the color scheme of the start page by clicking the "Personalize Page" button at the top-right of start page.
The Notifications Dashboard contains alerts about all of your classes. Find the Notifications Dashboard button just under the blendedschools.net tab.
