Environmental Science A
SC.HS.V2EnvironmentalSCATF.Bnet4copy
Environmental Science Part A deals with the abiotic factors within the environment. Within the next semester, you will be investigating Ecosystem Interactions (primarily ones within the nonliving components), water resources, soils and energy resources. The water sections will take you on a tour of how the water recycles, changes the physical characteristics of the land it flows over, how groundwater moves and what happens to the resource if it is contaminated. Soil is a nonrenewable resource that is vital for the production of our food, helps to clean our water resource and provides necessary nutrients for many of our plants. Energy resources delve into our fossil fuels and alternative energy sources.
