In this course, students will learn science content and experiences integrated with reading, writing, and math skills. The course provides students with many opportunities to develop science process skills that are essential for investigating the natural world.Students will experience a hands-on investigation in every lesson with the instruction designed to meet the Pennsylvania State Standards and National Science Education Standards. In the course, each unit is standards-based around life, Earth, and physical science with exciting and informative aspects of science and technology. Links to Internet resources are incorporated into most lessons to provide enrichment and also to support emerging technology skills.
