In this course, students will be presented with standards-based lessons in Earth Science through the use of technology, hands-on activities, investigations, and a textbook. Opportunities are provided to use scientific inquiry skills that will help you understand the natural world. Lessons incorporate free interactive Web sites for students to reinforce and enrich lesson topics. The course is split into six units that cover living things, the earth’s surface, ecosystems, space patterns, matter and energy, forces, and motion.
