In this course, students will experience activities that concentrate on communities in the U.S. and around the world. Students will learn about people who use good citizenship to help their community, state, and country while making connections to their own lives. The course is aligned to state and national standards while focusing on the themes of citizenship, geography, and research. This knowledge and skill components are all developed throughout the course through a variety of different activities and utilize resources from the Internet.
